Goofy Vs. Pluto: Which Disney Dog Is Best?

The debate over whether Goofy or Pluto is the better Disney character may never be resolved. Dog lovers probably prefer Pluto, because Pluto looks and acts like an actual dog. On the other hand, comedy fans – especially those who enjoy slapstick routines – may favor Goofy. Goofy, an anthropomorphized suburbanite who walks on two legs, wears clothes and drives a car, possesses a face bearing a passing resemblance to a dog, one complete with floppy ears, but that is his only canine aspect. Goofy is instead famous for his incredible tumbles and pratfalls, and the yodel-like scream he lets out whenever he crashes to earth. Goofy’s life, in fact, is a succession of painfully failed attempts at everyday activities, from skiing to riding horses.

Although Pluto is much more of a “dog,” he experiences a wider range of human emotions. He can feel scared, triumphant or sad. If he feels others are invading his turf, such as the troublesome chipmunks Chip and Dale, his fury becomes apparent in his growls and snarls. Goofy, for his part, is almost always cheerful. And both Pluto and Goofy are loyal to the core, and would never betray their mutual friend Mickey Mouse.

Scariest Non-Human Movie Villain Of All Time

Who is the scariest non-human movie villain of all time? There are hundreds and thousands of movies to choose from. And moreover, there are thousands of characters who serve as contenders to the honorable role of scariest movie villain of all time. Now, before the announcement is made, I’d like to settle the score about the requirements and characteristics that make this villain the scariest. It’s not the size that matters or the vast artillery of weapons but the distinguishing feature that when you watch this movie at an impressionable age you no longer want any dolls or toys that resemble it around the house. It’s the kind of feeling that really translates fear and shock. So, the scariest non-human movie villain of all time is Chucky, from the movie Child Play. The simple notion of a children’s toy being a movie villain is an incredibly frightening and mortifying idea. Chucky was a terrifying and relentless character that shocked millions of viewers upon it’s initial movie release. You might be older now and think that Chucky isn’t terrifying, but do you remember what it was like when you were younger and watching Child Play? Without a doubt, the scariest non-human movie villain is Chucky.

Grease, the all-time favorite musical, tells the story about how an all American boy and a teenage girl fell in love. In this movie John Travolta stars beside Olivia Newton-John and many others. Not only was she beautiful, she has a beautiful voice. Although she isn’t an American native, her look represented the average American girl who was just trying to fit in. Her character represented every teenage girl who was in love with a boy and did everything she could to get him to notice her. She does what almost every teenagers thinks about doing to fit in with her peers. She innocently attempts to smoke and drink but after getting sick she realize that is not for her.

Regardless of what’s going on the only thing she can think about is being with the boy she is in love with. As the story progresses she changes her look to catch his attention while maintain her innocence. In the very end, when he has had a chance to see her in her new look, she realizes that he was in love with her too and just wanted to be with her. He proved this by trying to change his look.

Jack Nicholson is one of the most memorable actors of recent times. He has made a name for himself by starring in dark, off-kilter films such as One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest and The Shining. In the former he plays an inmate of an insane asylum who has a complete disregard for the rules of the place. In The Shining, he play a father that goes insane in a hotel enclosed by snow and takes a liking to axes.

In One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest, Nicholson gives a stellar performance as Randle McMurphy, a rather insolent inmate of Oregon State Hospital. He stirs up the inmates to rebel against the tyrannical rule of Nurse Ratched, who runs the hospital like a concentration camp. He has an eccentric personality, typified by remarks like, “I must be crazy to be in a loony-bin like this.”

The Shining is based on a Stephen King novel. Like most Stephen King novels, it involves a supernatural force that begins to affect someone by driving them insane and – usually – violent. The movie is carried primarily by Nicholson’s chilling performance as Jack Torrance. If you’ve seen the film, then you know how much malice he puts into two little words: “Here’s Johnny!”

A black and white movie still gets People’s attention. It makes someone want to turn around, tune in and take notice of it. Black and white movies were the norm back in the day, all the great movies and great actors were in those old movies. Black and white movies can mean classics, like someone’s about to sit and watch something that hasn’t been done before. Great love scenes that involved love not sex, amazing dialog that didn’t insult peoples intelligence or needed to be dumbed down for the viewing masses. Black and white meant seeing how movies used to be, not just good or bad. These kind of movies told a story, boy meets girl, boy gets mixed up with the wrong crowed, girl joins a convent. Black and white movies shown today are independent movies, and they still get plenty attention. They are black and white to add a feeling to the story being told, sometimes color messes a story up, causing one pay too much attention to what is being seen, not what is being shown. Black and white movies of today are trying to show respect for the elders and grow and improve in their craft.

I am sure that there are a lot of Jim Carrey fans out there because he is one of the best comedians in Hollywood. He is known for his humor and how he can make anyone laugh out loud, even those who are picky when it comes to comedy movies.

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective is the best movie Jim Carrey starred in. Before the release of this movie, Jim Carrey was a nobody. However, when this movie was released all over the world, Jim Carrey became an A-list star. This movie is about Ace Ventura, a detective, who is tasked to find the missing mascot for the Miami Dolphins. If you are looking for a movie that is perfect for the whole family, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective is the best choice for you.

However, there is one movie that failed to reach the expectations of many fans of the actor, Me, Myself, and Irene. This movie is not a big hit in the box office because moviegoers were not that impressed and satisfied with the movie due to many factors: racist and stupid humor, offensive language, and bad soundtrack. There are even some people who are saying that this is the worst comedy movie that they have ever watched in years.

Fanboys is a great cult classic just like Star Wars, both of which you can sometimes catch on your DirectTV. If you like these classics, though, you’ve got to check out some of our other favorites if you haven’t already
Clerks: The best coming of age comedy we’ve ever seen, Clerks is a statement in the millennial generation. It’s poetically nonsensical and if you don’t laugh at that one scene withwell. You’ve just got to see it.
Adventureland: Out in 2009, Adventureland follows some disparate college grads around as they flail about post graduation. If you ever lived in a suburb and struggled with what to do with your life, this is your movie. Also, it’s got Kristen Stewart and a lot of her.
Donnie Darko: Of course you’ve seen Darko but you need to watch it again! It’s got all the best elements of a comic book movie with an apocalyptic element that will set your mind a spinning for days to come. If you really need a reality check you’ve got to get Darko again.

Star Trek vs. Star Wars, is a debate that has been discussed by passionate fans of both franchises since the 70′s. Star Trek’s original series has been around since 1966 and there have been eleven feature films, not to mention books and comics.

The first of the three original Star Wars movie was released in 1977. There have been six movies all together. Some Star Trek fans say that since it was created first and had more movies and television series, it is superior. The question this argument raises; does quantity equal quality? Not really.

Star Trek fans, or trekkies, are typically fanatical in their following of the franchise. So much so that there has been a documentary about the culture of trekkies. One could argue there are just as many dedicated fans of Star Wars. Hard core fans, often referred to fanboys, were the subject of a hilarious movie actually titled Fanboys. In the movie a group of friends travel to George Lucas’s home to try and sneak a peek of the unreleased Episode One.

An undisputed, clear winner of this debate will never be agreed upon. The mere idea of what makes a movie or franchise great is subjective. However, the Star Wars franchise seems to have made a more significant impression on American culture. Star Wars should be the clear winner even though not everyone would agree.

Ah yes the world of animation! Where drawings come to life and live and breath freely in their own worlds and words. However, which is better, computer animation or hand drawn animation? I believe it all depends on the beholder as both Traditional and CGI animation have their own strengths and weaknesses.
On one hand, Traditional animation trumps over CGI as being not only the forerunner of animation as we know it, but also more classical in its approach. Also, it shapes to our common perceptions of what animation is and what it consists of in the field of art.
As for CGI, the advantages it has over Traditional animation is the fact that computer technology is increasing becoming more available enabling animation to become more life like in its applications. Another advantage CGI has over Traditional animation is that CGI reduces the amount of paper used in animation, therefore reducing the demand for wood to create paper.
In closing, which is more prefable: Traditional animation or CGI? Well that all entirely depends on those who admire animation for its entertainment value. In fact, there have been animated mediums which have used both forms of animation with no problems whatsoever. The information party rocks on: Paramount launches Paramount Animation, first CGI film coming in 2014

Many villains throughout animation’s history have struck fear into the hearts of children and adults alike, but few villains have ever been compelling characters worth their own spin-offs. The best villain should be one that people love to hate. Because animation encompasses a wide range of styles and genres, this choice is going to be based not on popularity, but the complexity of the character and their design.

With that said, the best animated movie villain of all time is Maleficent from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty: she just oozes evil, style, and has a pet raven! Maleficent is the main tormentor of King Stefan’s people; it only took a non invite to his baby’s christening to set her malevolence off.The whole story can be found at http://geektyrant.com/news/2011/5/16/tim-burton-no-longer-directing-disneys-maleficent.html She then spends the next 16 years waiting to exact her revenge. Maleficent had it all: a flowing black robe, devilishly horned cap, ghoulish expressions, and seemingly unlimited powers. She instilled fear into the audience on every level.

Her psychopathic intent on destroying Princess Aurora transcended into pure obsession and enjoyment. This mistress of evil was the archetype for animated villains for years to come. While Disney continued to churn out countless powerful baddies, none ever surpassed the bar Maleficent set.
