Grease, the all-time favorite musical, tells the story about how an all American boy and a teenage girl fell in love. In this movie John Travolta stars beside Olivia Newton-John and many others. Not only was she beautiful, she has a beautiful voice. Although she isn’t an American native, her look represented the average American girl who was just trying to fit in. Her character represented every teenage girl who was in love with a boy and did everything she could to get him to notice her. She does what almost every teenagers thinks about doing to fit in with her peers. She innocently attempts to smoke and drink but after getting sick she realize that is not for her.

Regardless of what’s going on the only thing she can think about is being with the boy she is in love with. As the story progresses she changes her look to catch his attention while maintain her innocence. In the very end, when he has had a chance to see her in her new look, she realizes that he was in love with her too and just wanted to be with her. He proved this by trying to change his look.
